About the Film

A Deeper Love is an award-winning documentary following trailblazing performer and activist Peppermint across nearly a decade, from the underground stages of New York nightlife to her history-making turns on RuPaul’s Drag Race and Broadway, revealing the personal cost of visibility for a Black trans woman in America.
